After the style of poetry that took up the first half of 2024, The Boys in the Water starts to explore different ideas. Returning to the idea of queer grief, inspired by Russell T. Davies’ Cucumber, the poem delves into my personal thoughts and feelings after watching the series, especially hearing Hazel’s speech in Episode 6.
