Explore Learning

Marketing materials and informative text created for Explore Learning, a national Maths and English tuition company. All content was created according to the company Brand Guide and designed to support in advertisement, customer attraction, and increasing existing customer engagement.

The company brand guide changed in 2024, so materials pre-2024 and post-2024 have a slightly different appearance and colour pallette that reflects the constantly evolving brand.

Posters designed for external use, designed to catch the eye, represent the brand, and guide members of the public to either the website (left) or their local centre (right)

Colour: Used according to the company brand guide, blue as primary colour, white text, yellow for accent colours.

Images and Logo: Company provided images, unique to Explore Learning

Font: Company sans-serif font. Larger point text used outside of heading to draw the eye to specific points of information

Language: Repesentative of the company brand, mimicking language used on Explore Learning’s website and other marketing materials. Key phrases include ‘unbeatable support,’ ‘award-winning tuition’ and ‘smart-learning tools’

Elements: Other elements added by myself including arrows, ticks, background design, and I made all major structural design choices

Posters and slides designed for internal use and to be seen by staff only. They cover topics including room usage, learning and development; and company updates.

Colour: When using a white background, dark blue writing, light blue and yellow for accent colours and visuals

Background: Company branding involves a sliver of blue, mimicked in the background but designed by myself

Text: Makes use of bold text as opposed to larger point font to save space as it is all of equal importance. Bold text also used to highlight important headings. However, larger text is used for titles and phrases that summarise the purpose of the graphic.

Language: Phrases used to make it as accessible as possible. Graphics are handed down to staff from senior leadership and management, but language has been simplified to be accessible to staff at all levels of the business.

Images and Icons: Taken from the company brand guide and the central bank of images. Top right globe icon used on all internal company PowerPoints. Timeline graphic is a pre-existing company template created by the central marketing team.

Both of the PowerPoint slide images were created from central marketing team templates and adapted for the appropriate use with icons, text, and headings.

Created according to the company’s 2023 Brad Guide. Pages taken from a ten-page document designed for current customers on using the company’s at-home portal (then called Navigator). Many of the company colours remain the same, but with bold blue headings, light blue accents and text, and yellow icons and images.

All images are taken from the at-home portal or company website. All text written by myself and reviewed by multiple members of centre management to ensure the document is relevant to all of the company’s 25,000 regular customers.

Posters designed for use within centres to inform current customers. The posters inform members about potential changes to the centre’s regular operations around cultural celebrations

The posters strike the balance of informative and celebratory, providing current customers with appropriate information and celebrating Ramadan and Eid Al-Fitr

Review: These posters were reviewed by members of my team who celebrate Ramadan and Eid to ensure everything was accurate as I do not celebrate the religious restivals
